The Yamaha YZF15 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 2011. Max torque was 11.06 ft/lbs (15.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 16.63 HP (12.4 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 58.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 149.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the constant-mesh wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/90-17 front tire and a 100/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a linked type monocross. The YZF15 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 264.55 pounds (120.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.79 inches (1290 mm) long.
