The Highland 450 SM was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Highland in 2007. Max torque was 37.69 ft/lbs (51.1 Nm) @ 7300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 55.25 HP (41.2 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via single disc. bremo in the front and a single disc. bremo in the rear. The 450 SM was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 227.08 pounds (103.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.
