The Highland Outback was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Highland between 2006 and 2008. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 76.71 ft/lbs (104.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 83.14 HP (62.0 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 936.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the lubricated mult disk clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 150/70-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 50 mm marzocchi. 280 mm wheel travel, adjustable compression and rebound while the rear was equipped with a öhlins, 300 mm wheel travel, adjustable pre-load, compression and rebound. The Outback was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 363.76 pounds (165.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 60.24 inches (1530 mm) long.
