The Honda X4 was a Liquid cooled, four stroke, transverse four cylinders Naked motorcycle produced by Honda in 1997. It could reach a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h). Max torque was 89.25 ft/lbs (121.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled Liquid cooled, four stroke, transverse four cylinders. A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1284.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-18 front tire and a 190/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x310mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 276mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The X4 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 65.0 inches (1651 mm) long.

The Japanese manufacturer manufactured by the X4 LD motorcycle as a reply to Yamaha's Vmax, the company improving it several times in the next few years. For instance, the 2000 model comes with a lower seat, overall frame and improved suspension.
