The engine was a liquid cooled v6, four-stroke. A 68.0mm bore x 55.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1218.0 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. bosch abs. brembo radial 4-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. bosch abs. brembo 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a öhlins upside-down fork (ø 43 mm) with adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a öhlins ttx36 gp suspension struts with adjustable spring base, rebound and compression damping and built-in hydraulic spring preload adjustment.
