The KTM 560 SMR was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by KTM between 2006 and 2007. Max torque was 33.19 ft/lbs (45.0 Nm) @ 3250 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 565.5 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch, operated hydraulically.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/75-17 front tire and a 165/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. magura 4-piston, radially fixed caliper, brake disc ø 310 mm (12.20´) in the front and a single disc. brembo single-piston floating caliper, brake disc ø 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a wp usd ø 48 mm (1.89´) while the rear was equipped with a wp monoshock pds. The 560 SMR was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 241.41 pounds (109.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.
2006 - 2010 KTM 560 SMR[edit | edit source]
For 2006, KTM comes with the dirtybike 560 SMR. It is lightweight at 241 pounds and is a four-stroke liquid cooled, 566cc machine that won’t let you down. The 560 SMR has a higher compression ratio and larger engine displacement. Interestingly, it has the same bore as the 450 SMR, but has a longer stroke. Both models are equipped with 17-inch diameter, 3.5-inch wide front wheels and larger 17-inch diameter, 5- to 5.5-inch wide rear wheels. The larger rear wheel accommodates the bigger, more rugged race compound tires available today.
