The Kawasaki Ninja H2 was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2015 and 2019. Max torque was 104.52 ft/lbs (141.7 Nm) @ 11000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 223.15 HP (166.4 KW) @ 11500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 55.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 200/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. floating discs. in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm inverted fork with rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability and top-out springs while the rear was equipped with a uni-trak, öhlins ttx36 gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir, compression damping, rebound damping, preload adjustability and top-out spring. The Ninja H2 was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.28 inches (1455 mm) long.
2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Kawasaki Ninja H2 is, in essence, a street-legal version of the H2R. Based on the same technologies, it can achieve never before seen acceleration.
With a 998cc four-cylinder engine boosted by a supercharger that spins at almost 13000 rpm and pumps almost 200 liters of air per second, this two-wheeler revolutionized the motorcycle industry.
The bodywork has been developed with Kawasaki Aerospace Company, to generate as much downforce as possible and is made out of carbon.
The Japanese also introduced a special type of paint in this model. It is called mirror coated black paint, and this is the first mass-produced model ever to have it. The paint is a multi-layer composite one, and it includes a layer of pure silver formed by a chemical reaction.
