The Kawasaki VN1600 Classic Tourer was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki between 2003 and 2007. It could reach a top speed of 103 mph (165 km/h). Max torque was 93.68 ft/lbs (127.0 Nm) @ 2700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 65.58 HP (48.9 KW) @ 4700 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 102.0mm bore x 95.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1552.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 150/80-16 front tire and a 170/70-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. dual 300 mm discs, dual twin-piston caliper. in the front and a single disc. single 300 mm disc, twin-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with twin air-assisted shocks, 4-way rebound damping.. The VN1600 Classic Tourer was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 676.82 pounds (307.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 66.34 inches (1685 mm) long.
