The Kawasaki VN900 Custom was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2007 and 2014. Max torque was 57.53 ft/lbs (78.0 Nm) @ 3700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.0 HP (34.3 KW) @ 5700 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 74.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 903.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/90-m front tire and a 180/70-m15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41 mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a uni-trak. The VN900 Custom was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 612.89 pounds (278.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 64.76 inches (1645 mm) long.

The 2012 Kawasaki VN900 Custom is by far the best-looking year model of the whole series. While the initial 2 VN900 Custom looked almost like the stock bikes, the motorcycle truly evolved and the 2012 model screams its individuality.
