The Kawasaki VN900 Light Tourer was a Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke V-Twin Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2009 and 2012. Max torque was 58.27 ft/lbs (79.0 Nm) @ 3700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 50.02 HP (37.3 KW) @ 5700 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke V-Twin. A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 903.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed, return transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16M/C 67H front tire and a 180/70-15M/C 76H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300 mm disc, twin-piston in the front and a Single 270 mm disc, twin-piston in the rear. The front suspension was a 41 mm telescopic fork with 7-way preload while the rear was equipped with a Uni-Trak. The VN900 Light Tourer was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 65.0 inches (1651 mm) long.

The 2008 Kawasaki VN900 Light Tourer is a small cruiser, judging by the class standards, but by no means is this bike a small one. In fact, the 903cc V-twin is a powerful unit, delivering 50 hp and a 78 Nm (58 lb-ft) torque which is more than enough for a most nifty ride, solo or two-up.
This machine comes with all the nice features of the standard series and some new functional additions to make your ride more comfortable.
