The Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad was a single cylinder, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2005 and 2009. Max torque was 93.68 ft/lbs (127.0 Nm) @ 2700 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 102.0mm bore x 95.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1552.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 150/80-16 front tire and a 170/70-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic fork / 5.9 in. while the rear was equipped with a dual air-assisted shocks with four-way rebound damping / 3.9 in.. The Vulcan 1600 Nomad was fitted with a 5.3 Gallon (20.06 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 772.06 pounds (350.2 Kg). The wheelbase was 66.5 inches (1689 mm) long.
