The bike has a 6-speed with overdrive transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90x16 front tire and a 170/70x16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300mm discs in the front and a single 300mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with twin air-assisted shocks with 4-way rebound damping. The wheelbase was 65.59 inches (1666 mm) long.

The 2014 MY Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero SE ABS is available for purchase only in the USA.
It comes with a brand new paint choice, Candy Burnt Orange. The new paint job is complemented by some classic flame black vinyl on the saddlebags, the fuel tank and the front cowl, which beautifully match the blacked-out accents on the engine and chassis.
On the tech/engine side, it shares all its technology with the 2014 MY Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS.
