The Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Drifter was a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 8-valves Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2005 and 2006. Max torque was 47.21 ft/lbs (64.0 Nm) @ 3300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 56.05 HP (41.8 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 8-valves. A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 805.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90x16 front tire and a 140/90x16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a UNI-TRAK single shock system with seven-way preload adjustment. The Vulcan 800 Drifter was fitted with a 4.0 Gallon (15.14 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 541.9 pounds (245.8 Kg). The wheelbase was 63.58 inches (1615 mm) long.

The Vulcan 800 Drifter is a cruiser based on the lines of the 1940 "Scout" produced by the Indian Motorcycle Company.
