The Kawasaki ZL 900 was a Liquid-cooled, 16V DOHC, 4-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 1986. Max torque was 62.7 ft/lbs (85.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 105.0 HP (78.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 908.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 160/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 280mm discs with 2-piston calipers in the front and a Single 270mm disc with 1-piston calipers in the rear. The wheelbase was 62.8 inches (1595 mm) long.

The ZL 900 is a cruiser motorcycle based on the famous ZL bike also manufactured by Kawasaki. The ZL 900 model was only kept in production for one year, between 1985 and 1986.
