The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 3 valves. A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a CVT transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-10 front tire and a 90/90-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via disc in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The Compagno 50i was fitted with a 1.45 Gallon (5.49 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 188.94 pounds (85.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 47.01 inches (1194 mm) long.

The 2013 MY Kymco Campagno 50i sports a fuel-injected, air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It has a design which replicates the 60's and 70's scooters, but also with modern technologies cleverly hidden underneath, for maximum riding pleasure. It comes standard with an instrument cluster that features a speedometer, an odometer and a LCD fuel gauge and clock, a low, 29" seat height, front and under-seat storage compartments, plus folding passenger foot pegs.

The 2014 MY Kymco Compagno 50i sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It comes standard with an under-seat storage compartment, a low, 29"seat height, a front glove compartment, folding passenger foot pegs, a helmet hook and an instrument cluster that includes a speedometer, an odometer, and LCD fuel gauge and clock. This machine has been designed to fit the taste of the more nostalgic among Kymco Fans.
