The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

It came with a 120/70 - ZR 17 M/C (58 W) front tire and a 200/55 - ZR 17 M/C (78 W) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a single 210mm disc 4 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Ohlins EC Nix hydraulic inverted front forks with TiN superficial treatment, completely adjustable electronically controlled compression and rebound damping with manual, spring preload while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins TTX progressive, single shock absorber, fully adjustable hydraulic electronically controlled compression and rebound damping with manual, spring preload. The wheelbase was 56.3 inches (1430 mm) long.
2014 MV Agusta F4 RR ABS[edit | edit source]
The 2014 MY MV Agusta F4 RR ABS addresses those riders who want more stability out of their sportbike. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, in-line four cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 201 horsepower and 111 Nm of torque. It comes standard with a switchable ABS system, the very latest developed by the House of Schiranna. In all other aspects, it has the same features as the base F4 RR.
