The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 72° V Twin, belt driven single cam operating pushrod 2 valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, cable operated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 260mm disc in the front and a Single 260mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks. The 501 Excalibur was fitted with a 17 Liters / 4.5 US gal fuel tank.
