The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 87° V longitudinal twin, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.8;1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate, anti-hopping system.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi upside down with 50mm stems, hydraulically adjustable in extension, compression and spring pre-charge on each stem. Ergal rod, floating bushing and stretched counter-spring while the rear was equipped with a With progressive motion and single Sachs shock absorber adjustable in extension, compression and spring pre-charge with singlering-nut. Moto Morini is offering a limited run of higher-spec Corsaro 1200s with Termignoni carbon-fibre titanium silencers, and carbon bodywork as well as more comfortable gel seats for the rider and passenger. plus carbon-fibre replacements for the rear hugger, tank and seat inserts and the key cover.
