Overview[edit | edit source]
Moto Morini Corsaro 1200ZT
The Corsaro family is enriched with a new model. The ZT initials are about to
indicate the Corsaro ZZs evolution towards a motorbike designed for those
Morini owners who were looking to live a more involving, yet less committed
experience.
The tank, smaller and thinner compare to Corsaro ZZ ones, enables, along with
an unchanged saddle, easier dismounting and an easier, more relaxing ride.
The design also boasts a new round front headlamp which immediately
transforms it into an instant classic which is both pleasant to see and ride.
The indicators are new.
A different, more angled dashboard positioning ensures easier visibility.
The instrument console consists of a five-inch color LCD display.
The rear spoiler disappears while the smaller rear mudguard helps with a more
streamlined design, weight and that racing bike character which marked the
Corsaro ZZ.
At the heart of the Corsaro 1200 ZT is an 1187cc FMV12 V-twin engine,
delivering 137bhp and 125Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed transmission
with a quickshifter and a slipper clutch. It rides on lightweight 17-inch forged
aluminum wheels. It gets 46mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. The
suspension setup has been sourced from Mupo and is fully adjustable. The brake
setup consists of dual 320mm discs up front and a single 220mm disc at the rear,
with ABS offered as standard.
The Corsaro 1200 ZT is six kilograms lighter than its host, tipping the
scales at 191 kilograms.
