The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 86.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 383.4 cubic centimeters.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-13 front tire and a 140/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The Velvet 400 was fitted with a 3.09 Gallon (11.70 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 308.65 pounds (140.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.
