The Royal Enfield CLASSIC SATIN 500 was a Single cylinder, four-stroke, air cooled Classic motorcycle produced by Royal Enfield in 2015. Max torque was 30.24 ft/lbs (41.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 28.03 HP (20.9 KW) @ 5200 RPM.

A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 499.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed, constant mesh transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-19 front tire and a 100/90 -19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 280mm in the front and a Drum 152mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks, gas charged with 5-step adjustable preload. The wheelbase was 53.9 inches (1369 mm) long.
