The Shineray XY-250 3 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Shineray between 2008 and 2012. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Max torque was 13.28 ft/lbs (18.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.69 HP (11.7 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The engine was a oil & air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 69.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the manual multiplate wet clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. radial-mounted two-piston calipers in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic pressure and spring type while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic pressure and spring type. The XY-250 3 was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 330.69 pounds (150.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.
