The Triumph STREET TRIPLE R was a Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2016. Max torque was 56.8 ft/lbs (77.0 Nm) @ 9400 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 116.0 HP (86.5 KW) @ 12000 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 765.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70ZR17 front tire and a 180/55ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 310 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 41mm upside down separate function big piston forks (SF-BPF), 115mm front wheel travel. Adjustable compression damping, rebound damping and adjustable preload while the rear was equipped with a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock, 134mm rear wheel travel. Adjustable spring preload (lock-rings), compression damping and rebound damping.. The wheelbase was 55.51 inches (1410 mm) long.
