The front suspension was a 46 Mm Ceriani Italy Inverted Fork while the rear was equipped with a Swing Arm With ZF Sachs Shock. The wheelbase was 53.9 inches (1369 mm) long.

The French Wakan 1640 is a naked sport bike built on the same principle as Carol Shelby's AC Cobra, a powerful American engine. This machine is the masterpiece of Joel Domergue, the one who created Scorpa and other motorcycles. The prototype of this bike was born in 2005 and the first three models were created in 2006.
