The Honda VF750 Sabre was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Honda between 1982 and 2004. It could reach a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h). Max torque was 47.94 ft/lbs (65.0 Nm) @ 7250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 76.57 HP (57.1 KW) @ 9000 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled V4, four-stroke. A 70.0mm bore x 48.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 748.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate clutch.
Chassis
It came with a 120/80-17 front tire and a 150/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm cartridge fork; 5.9-inch travel while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks with five-position spring-preload adjustability; 3.9-inch travel. The VF750 Magna was fitted with a 3.6 Gallon (13.62 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 505.08 pounds (229.1 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.0 inches (1651 mm) long.

Intro
This is the bike that formed the foundation for Honda's line of interceptors. In 1983 it's engine was used a basis for the VF750F, which changed the world of sport motorcycles. Its engine was also used in the VF750C V45 Magna.

The VF750S'82 V45 Sabre was sold in 1982 in one of two colors: Black or Candy Bourgogne Red. The front fender and exhaust system were chrome. The air cleaner cover had a silver "V-FOUR" decal. The speedometer had a 85 mph (135 kph) limit. The front disc brake grooves were straight. The engine was a 748cc 4-valve liquid-cooled V-4 linked to a 6-speed transmission and a shaft drive. The serial number began JH2RC070*CM000025.
