'E' model variation Harley-Davidsons were produced in 1912 and 1918. They were both twin cylinder 60.34 cu. in. bikes. However the 1912 Model X8E was a belt drive whereas the 1918 Model 18E was a twin-chain drive.
During the same production years there were also A,C,D and E variations. Their features are as follows:
