The Kawasaki ZX-11 Ninja was a 1100cc Four stroke, 4 cylinder, DOHC, liquid cooled, 16 valves Sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki from 1994 to 2001. Max torque was 81.14 ft/lbs (110.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 146.98 HP (109.6 KW) @ 10500 RPM.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multidisc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 180/55-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic disc in the front and a Single hydraulic disc in the rear.

The original ZX1100C made from 1990-1992 was upgraded drastically to form the ZX1100D. The bike that would be the fastest bike in the world for many years. From 1993 onward the bike changed mainly it's colors.
In 1997 Honda introduced the CBR1100XX Blackbird which made the ZX-11 no longer the fastest motorcycle. The introduction of the Suzuki Hayabusa in 1999 further caused it to lose its status as the most modifiable drag motorcycle. Kawasaki introduced its own less successful speed challenger in the ZX-12R in 2000. The ZX-11 was continued to be produced unchanged until 2002 as it served more of a sport touring niche than the ZX-12R with its far more comfortable riding position and seat. These features of the bikes design would later show up in the ZX-14
In 2002 Kawasaki introduced what it deemed the direct replacement for the ZX-11 in the form of the ZZ-R1200. Although frame and suspension looks like that of the ZX-11 Kawasaki had done a lot to improve the design of the ZX-11.
