The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/90-18 front tire and a 140/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320 mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 282 mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45 mm Marzocchi telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swing arm with 2 hydraulic shock absorbers with preload adjustment. The California 1100 EV Touring was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 61.42 inches (1560 mm) long.

The 2002 MY Moto Guzzi California 1100 EV Touring is the flagship touring machine from the House of Mandello del Lario. It comes with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1064cc, 90-degree V-twin powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 74 horsepower and 94 Nm of torque. It comes standard with a large, color-matched windshield, spacious, 40 liter panniers and a newly-designed stainless steel rack. In addition, a Brembo Gold Series braking system improve performance and also makes for a safer machine.
