The Suzuki FXR150 "Cybermatic Sports Cruiser" is powered by 4-stroke 147 cc engine. Produced in Malaysia by Lion Suzuki Motor Sdn Bhd with 75% local content, it is sold for RM9000. It replaced the slightly larger in size 2-stroke Suzuki RG150/RGV150. It features a full digital dash which displayed fuel, rpm, speed and gear. Top speed is around 150 km/h. The frame is made of box cut steel and had a banana shaped rear swingarm, it has a single mono shock on the rear with a single disk brake. The front suspension is a traditional telescopic fork also with a single disk brake. The wheels are 5 spoke eniki mag type wheels. The engine has a six-speed close ratio gearbox with a kickstart and 12 volt electric start. The engine features a small oil cooler to aid cooling.

ChassisIt came with a 80/90-17 front tire and a 100/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped forks while the rear was equipped with a swinging arm, coil spring, oil damped, spring pre-load 4-way adjustable. The FXR150 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 260.15 pounds (118.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.17 inches (1325 mm) long. |
