The Honda GL1500A Gold Wing Aspencade was a liquid-cooled horizontally-opposed six cylinder, 4-stroke Touring motorcycle produced by Honda in 2000. Max torque was 110.64 ft/lbs (150.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 5200 RPM.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/70H-18 front tire and a 160/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual discs with twin-piston calipers in the front and a single disc with twin-piston calipers, CBS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm fork with TRAC anti-dive 140mm of travel while the rear was equipped with a air-assisted (right-hand only) dual shocks; 105 mm of travel. The wheelbase was 66.5 inches (1689 mm) long.
2000 Honda GL1500A Gold Wing Aspencade[edit | edit source]
The Aspencade is one more 25th anniversary GL1500A Gold Wing. Not as fully-loaded bike as the Special Edition version, the Aspencade does come with chromed engine covers, high-contrast black instrument faces which are easy to read and the distinctive anniversary badges on the trunk.
The 1999 GL1500A Gold Wing Aspencade carries on Honda's touring bikes heritage and delivers road worthiness blended with exceptional levels of rider and passenger comfort.
