The Laverda Strike was a liquid cooled, four stroke, parallel twin. DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Laverda between 2002 and 2003. Max torque was 59.75 ft/lbs (81.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 91.99 HP (68.6 KW) @ 9200 RPM.

A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 747.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/60 ZR17 front tire and a 160/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Paioli Racing inverted adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Paioli monoshock adjustable spring preload, rebound & compression damping. The Strike was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.
