The engine was a air cooled Single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled. A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 97.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-Plate.
