The Moto Morini Coguaro was a V-twin cylinder, four stroke, two valves per cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Moto Morini in 1989. Max torque was 24.34 ft/lbs (33.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.04 HP (30.6 KW) @ 7700 RPM.

A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 500.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.00-21 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Alloy swinging arm single shocks.

The Coguaro engine is the only dual sport morini set up with a geared starter incorporated in the engine casing. Other 501 had the additional starter operated with a clutch on the alternator that gave a lot of headaches if not maintained properly.
