Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 316mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 240mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock. The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.

The 1997 MZ Skorpion 660 Skorpion Traveller sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 660cc, single cylinder engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 48 horsepower and 57 Nm of torque. This machine has been designed by the German engineers for those riders who want to spend more time behind the bars, and comes standard with side panniers, a large, 18-liter fuel tank, and a full fairing.

It also boasts the features found on the base Skorpion model, such as the front and rear disc brakes, a telescopic front fork, an adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension, a dual seat, an exhaust system with a chromed silencer and the three-spoked, cast-aluminum wheels.
