Aprilia Leonardo 125 in Blue

The Aprilia Leonardo 125 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 1997 and 2006. Claimed horsepower was 11.8 HP (8.8 KW) @ 8800 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.9 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (SOHC).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal dry clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork with advanced wheel pin, 35 mm dia. sleeves, travel 90 mm. while the rear was equiped with a engine with function of oscillating fork, attached to frame with double rod supported by silent-blocks. The Leonardo 125 was fitted with a 2.46 Gallon (9.30 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 286.6 pounds (130.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 51.97 inches (1320 mm) long.
