The Aprilia Scarabeo 50 Street was a single cylinder, two-stroke scooter produced between 2004 and 2018. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 5250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.16 HP (3.1 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 41.0mm bore x 37.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.4 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive
The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the automatic dry centifuge with damper buffers.
Chassis
It came with a 80/80-16 front tire and a 90/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equiped with a single hydraulic shock absorber pivoting on engine-transmission assembly.
