The Triumph Speed Four was a Liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder, 4-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Triumph between 2003 and 2006. Max torque was 50.16 ft/lbs (68.0 Nm) @ 10500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 98.03 HP (73.1 KW) @ 11750 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled Liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder, 4-stroke. A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 599.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Gears transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 310mm floating discs, 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc, single piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm forks with dual rate springs and adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping. The Speed Four was fitted with a 4.39 Gallon (16.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 374.79 pounds (170.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.88 inches (1394 mm) long.
2003 Triumph Speed Four[edit | edit source]

2004 Triumph Speed Four[edit | edit source]
The 2003 Speed Four is a sweet derivation from the acclaimed Daytona 600 machine, but it rather establishes a class of its own. Most likely it's the radical styling which will make heads turn: naked, agile and utterly aggressive, the Speed Four also comes with exceptional handling and a strong feeling of being in control.
With powerful brakes and its lightweight construction, the 2003 Speed Four is a sweet choice for urban riding, being an excellent commuter and doubling as a nimble machine for weekends at the track or just leisure riding.
2005 Triumph Speed Four[edit | edit source]
The 2004 Speed Four carries on the naked roadster heritage and brings all the brawn of a supersport machine in a more streetable package which is great for daily riders as it is rewarding on the track or for weekend getaways. Exceptional handling and an upright riding position add a lot of usability for this bike, while the uncompromised, straightforward styling is all radical Triumph DNA.
Light and nimble, the 2004 Speed Four is a great sporty all-rounder which will provide enormous fun in pretty much any scenario.
2006 Triumph Speed Four[edit | edit source]
One of the last in-line 4 machines manufactured by Triumph, the Speed Four is a high-performance roadster which boasts its ultra-aggressive styling and matches it with equally thrilling performance from the supersport-class 599cc engine.
A middleweight naked beast for exceptional fun in the busy urban traffic and even more fun for fast weekend getaways around the city, the Speed Four is a great choice for a daily bike. And with adjustable suspensions, there's no telling how fun time spent aboard it can be.
