The CB650 custom was a motorcycle made by Honda between 1980 and 1981.
The styling features that separated the custom from the standard CB650 are:
- Highlighted, black Honda ComStar wheels
- 4-4 exhaust pipes
- Pull-back "wheelbarrow" handle bars
- Extended front air-forks
- Vibration-resistant mirrors

The engine was a Air cooled. cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50-19 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 275mm discs 1 piston calipers in the front and a 180mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Centre axle coil spring forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual Showa dampers. adjustable spring preload.. The CB650C Custom was fitted with a 13.5 Liters / 3.5 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 220 kg / 485 lbs. The wheelbase was 1480 mm / 58.3 in long.

The CB650C'80 650 Custom was sold in 1980 in Black or Candy Muse Red. The gas tank and side covers were solid color. The exhaust system was a 4-into-4. The front forks had a straight axle (no air assist). The single front disc brake was hydraulic. The engine was a 627cc 4-cylinder linked to a 5-speed transmission. The serial number began RC05-2000008.

The CB650C'81 Custom was sold in 1981 in one of two color schemes: Candy Universal Blue with Metallic Blue or Candy Muse Red with Metallic Brown. The gas tank and side covers were 2-tone. The bike had a leading axle and air assisted front forks. The dual front disc brakes were hydraulic operated. The engine was a 627cc 4-cylinder linked to a 5-speed transmission. The serial number began JH2RC051*BM100009

The CX650C'83 Custom was sold in 1983 in one of two color schemes: Black or Candy Wineberry Red. The Honda CX650 had headlights and instruments that were round. The side covers were 2-tone in the basic color (black or red) and chrome. The "CUSTOM CX" rear fender decals were gold.
