The Ducati SportClassic GT1000 was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Ducati between 2006 and 2010. Max torque was 6.86 ft/lbs (9.3 Nm) @ 9300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 90.12 HP (67.2 KW) @ 8000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate with hydraulic control.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-r17 front tire and a 180/55-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi 43mm usd forks while the rear was equipped with a twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The SportClassic GT1000 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 407.86 pounds (185.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.1 inches (1425 mm) long.
